Global Leadership Work
As I began working with leaders and teams around the world, a pattern became impossible to ignore. Much of the burnout conversation was built on finger pointing, often aimed squarely at leaders, as if blame alone could create change. Even the World Health Organization’s definition, while important, was designed to placed responsibility solely on organizations.
Research, Recovery, and FRIED
What started as personal repair turned into a platform for shared understanding, and a way to help others recognize burnout as a signal rather than a personal shortcoming. Burnout is not your fault was my main message through these years. This is when my speaking career started to really pick up.

I burned out hard while working for myself, which came with a special twist. When you’re both the leader and the employee, there’s no one else to point to.
