Research, Recovery, and FRIED
What began as personal repair became public work. I launched FRIED: The Burnout Podcast and began exploring burnout as a systems issue, not a personal flaw.
Recovery didn’t come from pushing harder or finding a better productivity hack. It came from slowing down enough to readjust how my life and work actually fit together. I focused on healing, changed how I worked, and put language to what I was learning by writing about burnout without blame. In 2019, FRIED: The Burnout Podcast, a space for honest conversations about burnout, recovery, and the real conditions that shape how work feels was created. In 2020, my first book was released. What started as personal repair turned into a platform for shared understanding, and a way to help others recognize burnout as a signal rather than a personal shortcoming. Burnout is not your fault was my main message through these years. This is when my speaking career started to really pick up.
