Burnout Recovery Coaches: A Curated Directory to Help You Choose the Right Fit
How to Choose the Right Burnout Coach
Burnout is not one thing. It’s a web of causative factors and where you are in the web is unique to you. Which means the right support depends on where you are, not just how exhausted you feel.
Before scrolling the list, ask yourself a few grounding questions:
1. Do I need coaching or therapy?
If you’re experiencing severe anxiety, depression, trauma responses, or relationship breakdowns tied to burnout, a licensed therapist may be the right starting point. Some practitioners below offer both.
2. Am I depleted… or disoriented?
Decide what you need - first - clarity or energy? Some people are exhausted but clear they want change, they just need clarity on how to get there. Others are so depleted they can’t tell what they want anymore.
3. Do I want structure or spaciousness?
Some burnout survivors want clear action steps and accountability. Others need room to rest, reflect, and rebuild trust with themselves first.
4. Do I want practical tools, deep transformation, or both?
There’s no moral hierarchy here. Just fit.
Use the list below to find someone who matches your nervous system, your season, and your values, not just your resume. Be okay with getting on some calls (even paid!) to assess fit after you've made a top 3 list from the options below. Before you get on that call, review the above questions.
BE BOLD HERE - if it doesn't feel right, even if you can't name why - it's NOT RIGHT. This is your first step in burnout recovery - allowing yourself the correct support that suits you. A call doesn't mean you have to marry anyone!
NOTE: Locations are noted for time zone reasons. Most of this list works virtually.
Disclaimer: This directory is provided for informational purposes only. Each listing is based solely on the information submitted by the practitioner and has been lightly edited for clarity and consistency. Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement, guarantee, or medical recommendation. Please verify credentials, fit, and scope of practice directly with the practitioner. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need immediate support, contact local emergency services or a licensed medical provider.
